The Role
As a workshop technician in our mechanical workshop, you will be an important part of our workshop team, working closely with technology to create solutions that make a real difference in everyday life. Here, you will work in an environment where craftsmanship, precision, and problem-solving come together. You will manufacture customer-specific and often time-critical components in small series — a job that both challenges and develops you. Together with engaged and experienced colleagues, you will contribute to a production characterized by quality, flexibility, and continuous improvement. This is the role for you if you enjoy variety, appreciate thinking smart, and want to create results that are directly noticeable in the business.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture products, prototypes, spare parts, and machine parts in small series for internal needs
- Independently set up, rig, and adjust machines as needed
- Operate manual machines and work practically with mechanical processing
- Contribute to the development of the workshop's working methods based on ergonomics, quality, efficiency, and material flow
- Collaborate with colleagues in the team and support the business with quick and precise solutions
- Work in Inventor and Edgecam for drawings and preparation for processing
Qualifications
- High school education in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Driver's license (B)
- Experience working practically in a workshop environment with manual machines
- Ability to independently rig, set up, and adjust machines
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, as well as good computer skills
- Driver's license (B)
Meritorious
- Experience in CNC machining or CNC programming
- Background as a mechanic or CNC operator
- Knowledge in turning, milling, 3D printing, wire erosion, and preparation
